Description
Beta vulgaris. Lovely globe beetroot with an orange outer skin and an intriguing combination of pink and white on the inside, fading to a soft pink when cooked. Easy to grow variety. Sow thinly in 1cm deep drills 30cm apart. Thin seedlings to 5cm apart for 'baby beets' when large enough to handle or 7cm for larger. Great for salads and pickling.
