Sweet box. The powerful scent from this under-rated evergreen shrub will often stop people in their tracks, especially as it flowers over the winter months when there is so little scent in the garden. They prefers to be planted in a shady spot so work really well under deciduous trees or shrubs. Perfect for woodland setting but equally nice planted in containers for a shady balcony or terrace. The white flowers turn to black berries so not only do early flying winter bees love the flowers, the birds love the berries. Height 75cm Spread 50cm.
