Dwarf sea holly with striking, bright purple-blue cone-shaped flowers surrounded by spiky bracts. Its has silvery foliage. The dried flowerheads can be left to provide winter interest. Best grown in sunny, well-drained position.
Mature height 30cm spread 60cm. Loved by bees and butterflies. We showcased this Eryngium in our very first display, over a decade ago, at the RHS Hampton Court Flower Show. They were by far our most popular plant at that show and we have been growing them ever since.
