Filipendula hexapetala

Lovely rosette forming perennial the leaves are pinnate and fern-like toothed and dark green. The flowers are produced in the early summer with loose corymbs of white blooms on wiry stems. Height 1m. Perfect for mid border planting. Unlike other Filipendula species, which require constantly moist soils, it will tolerate drier conditions. Good for bees. Best in partial shade.
