New variety of Allium that grows from rhizomes or underground stems rather than the usual bulbs. This variety may suit those whose gardens suffer from winter wet which the bulb varieties are not a fan of. The foliage also keeps its blue-green form so looks good throughout the growing season and no need to trim the leaves. The leaves have a slight twist to them. The flowers of which there are many are pale purple. Height 50cm. Full sun or part shade. Adored by bees.
