Great climber that produces open bell-shaped, single, bright wine-red flowers, which grow up to 7cm across, with slightly twisted sepals and yellow anthers, from mid-summer to early autumn. As with most clematis of the viticella group it also shows good resistance to clematis wilt. Height & Spread 3m. Can be grown in pots. Full sun or partial shade. Pruning group 3.
