Forsythia x intermedia

Lovely deciduous shrub that is covered with mass of vivid yellow flowers at the start of Spring which is always welcome after the grey of Winter. The fresh green foliage is very dense and flushes out just as the flowers come to an end. Perfect for the mixed or makes a lovely informal hedge. Height and spread 1.75m x 1m. Full sun or partial shade. Best in moist to well drained soil.
