Italian statuette in a lacquered black and gold heavy metal

Stunning Italian statuette made in a lacquered black and gold heavy metal. The base of the piece is stamped 'Made in Italy'.

Weighing just over 1.7kg and 40cm in height, this is a lovely solid piece. The watertight bowl has many potential uses - perhaps a fruit bowl, pot pourri holder or just a gorgeous plant stand. With only one small scratch at the back under the rim of the bowl - and dating back to around the 1930's - she is certainly in fabulous condition!
