Eryngium planum 'Blue Hobbit' | Dwarf sea holly with striking, bright purple-blue cone-shaped flowers surrounded by spiky bracts. Its has silvery foliage. The dried flowerheads can be left to provide winter interest. Best grown in sunny, well-drained position.
Mature height 30cm spread 60cm. Loved by bees and butterflies. We showcased this Eryngium in our very first display, over a decade ago, at the RHS Hampton Court Flower Show. They were by far our most popular plant at that show and we have been growing them ever since.
Please note these plants have been cut back. Plant now for Summer 26 flowering.
