Sage White

Salvia apiana. Known by many different names, white, sacred and Californian to name a few this. It is the stems of this sage that are used to make smudge sticks. These are used to cleanse houses and souls. A strong aromatic scent is releases when the smudging sticks are burned which help to rid the area/person of negative energy. The leaves are silver white and the flowers appear in clusters of white with lavender streaks.
