Thymus camphoratus. This variety is native to South Portugal. Strong culinary flavour so use sparingly. Creates a lovely mound of dark green leaves and in summer purple-pink flowers appear. A lovely variety for both the ornamental garden and the herb bed. Bees are really drawn to the flowers of this thyme.
