Aloe vera

Aloe vera | Every home should really have one of these plants. They are best kept indoors although they can be moved outside in the summer months. They are classed as a succulent and their fleshly leaves store water so do not overwater as this is the biggest cause of death in aloe plants. 

Medicinally the sap of the plant is used to treat burns and bites.
