Now know as Symphyotrichum. Fantastic late flowering perennial that will not only add late summer colour to the border but also height as they reach a mature height of 1.3m. After the first year no staking will be require as they good stiff stems. Bright purple daisy like flowers with yellow centres that are loved by the bees and butterflies.
