Basil Sweet

Basil Sweet |  Ocimum basilicum. Tender annual. Highly aromatic with bright green leaves. Essential herb in many pasta dishes. The leaves combine well with tomato, egg and salad dishes. Always rip the leaves rather than cutting them. This releases much more flavour. Keep well watered on sunny windowsill. Can live outdoors from June, once night time temperatures drop below 10° then bring back indoors.
