Chamaecyparis 'Snow White'

With conifers making a comeback in popularity this is great variety for those with small gardens who don't want a huge conifer. The mature height of this variety is only 1m and they are easy to keep pruned. The blue-grey foliage tipped with white, giving an impression of being dusted with snow, makes this an attractive variety especially in the winter garden when there is a lack of colour.  During the summer months the tips are more of a lemon-yellow and take on the white in the colder months. Works well in pots as well as planted in the ground.  Conifers are one of the favourite nesting spots for ladybirds.
