Cirsium rivulare 'Atropurpureum' | Brook Thistle is an upright perennial with decorative red thistle flower heads on tall, 4foot, hight stems. Flowers early Spring to late Summer. Bees adore this plant. Best in full sun but can take part shade. Prefers a dry soil. Will not cope in damp soils.
