Gaining in popularity due to their vigorous growth, high-yielding, and disease-resistant, producing cucumbers up to 35cm (14in) long. They thrive in greenhouses/polytunnels, offering better cold tolerance, faster growth, and increased, high-quality, seedless fruit production compared to standard plants.
You can expect fruits of around 35cm.
Plant into greenhouse borders, grow bags or larger containers. Feed high-potassium fertilizer (such as our organic liquid seaweed) once the first fruits start to swell.
The plants will need to be trained upwards using trellis, nets, or string to ensure straight, clean fruits. Keep the plastic grafting clip above the soil line to avoid scion rooting, which defeats the purpose of the graft.
They thrive in warm, humid conditions; mist the air to boost humidity in dry, hot conditions.
Regularly pick cucumbers to encourage continued production throughout the season
Once picked store in the fridge but not alongside any fruit!
