This variety will produce spikes of blood red flowers on branching stems that will appear from late summer to mid-autumn on this rather clump-forming perennial. The foliage is a deep purple-red and will grows to 1m high and 30cm wide. Copes with wet soil so can live happily on pond edges. Good for bees
