Salvia nemorosa 'Caradonna'

Compact plant with dark-blue blooms over a long period in summer. Attractive black stems give this Salvia an opulent feel. Vigorous and quick growing. Deer and rabbits leave this plant alone but butterflies and bees adore it. Mature height 50cm. Always widely used in the Chelsea Show Gardens as its one of the first salvias to come into flower.
