Description
Rumex acetosa. A great perennial herb that prefers a cool shady spot in the garden and quite happy planted underneath herbs like the full sun such as rosemary and sage. The leaves are fantastic raw in salad and have a lovely lemon-tangy flavour. Great with eggs and oily fish. Height 45cm. Do not allow to flower as this will alter the flavour of the leaves.
