Tree Spinach

Chenopodium giganteum. Often referred to to as Chaya this fast growing leafy herb is packed full of vitamin A, B & C along with iron and fibre. While it prefers a moist soil it can cope with periods of drought. Sparkly pink leaves make it an attractive choice for either the herb beds or the ornamental bed. Superb in salads. Will self seed. Height 50cm. Full sun
